Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic
Job Description
FSN is seeking a skilled, experienced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our clinical team. In this role, you will utilize advanced imaging equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex diagnostic X-ray procedures with high accuracy.
- Apply strict ALARA principles and radiation safety protocols.
- Prepare, position, and comfort patients during imaging processes.
- Review physician orders to ensure correct positioning and views.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and quality-check diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Document patient history and exam details accurately in the RIS/PACS system.
- Communicate effectively with the hospital care team for seamless workflow.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Active ARRT(R) registration in good standing.
- Valid State License in Radiologic Technology
- Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based diagnostic X-ray experience.
Shift & Schedule:
- Day shift: 5x8 or 4x10
