Anesthesia Technologist
Job Description
FSN is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Anesthesia Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and nursing staff to prepare and maintain the specialized equipment and medications required for surgical and procedural cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot anesthesia machines, monitors, and specialized equipment (e.g., fiber-optic scopes, ultrasound machines, rapid infusers).
- Ensure ORs and anesthesia carts are fully stocked with necessary pharmaceuticals, airway supplies, and disposables.
- Assist the anesthesia care team with airway management, patient positioning, and the application of invasive and non-invasive monitors.
- Maintain strict adherence to sterilization and sanitation protocols for all anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology Program
- Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.) or Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.T.) highly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an Anesthesia Tech in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia pharmacology, physiology, and emergency response procedures; excellent critical thinking and organizational skills.
