Join our team at FSN as a Medical Scribe!

Medical Scribes will work directly with physicians and medical staff to accurately document patient visits, medical histories, and treatment plans in real-time. This role allows you to gain invaluable clinical exposure while helping providers maximize their time and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany healthcare providers during patient examinations and accurately document the encounter in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Record the physician's dictation, diagnoses, prescriptions, and instructions.
  • Prepare and organize patient medical charts for physician review and signature.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with various administrative and clinical documentation tasks as directed by the attending provider.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; current college student or recent graduate (pre-med, nursing, or health sciences) preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is a plus.
  • Strong typing skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a highly professional demeanor.
  • Previous medical office or administrative experience is highly valued but not required.

Shift & Schedule:

  • Day shift: 5x8 or 4x10
