Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU

FSN is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The Neuro ICU RN will provide specialized care to patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, and post-operative neurosurgical cases.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neurological patients in the ICU
  • Monitor and assess patients’ neurological status, vital signs, and hemodynamics
  • Administer medications, including IV drips and sedation, following protocols
  • Operate and manage advanced life support equipment (e.g., ventilators, ICP monitors)
  • Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of critical care or ICU nursing experience.
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred.
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to act swiftly in high-pressure situations.

Shift & Schedule:

  • Day shift: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
