Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy to patients, including mechanical ventilation, CPAP/BiPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and oxygen therapy.
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings based on patient assessments, arterial blood gas (ABG) results, and physician protocols.
- Assist with airway procedures such as intubation, suctioning, surfactant administration, and management of inhaled nitric oxide therapy.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement optimal respiratory support plans for critically ill patients.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety and clinical standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC is required.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Shift & Schedule:
- Night shift: 4 days per week, 12-hour shifts from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
