Registered Nurse – Cath Lab

FSN is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate is experienced in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including assessments, education, and consent verification
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures (e.g., angioplasty, stent placement)
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status
  • Administer medications, including moderate sedation, in accordance with hospital protocols
  • Operate and assist with specialized Cath Lab equipment
  • Provide post-procedure care and patient education for recovery and discharge
  • Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control standards
  • Respond effectively to emergencies, including cardiac arrest situations
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend coverage

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of critical care, cardiac, or Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting
  • Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, team-based environments

Shift & Schedule:

  • Day shift: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
