Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse specialized in Pain Management to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient comfort and quality of life by delivering expert pain assessment and management in a dynamic clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of acute and chronic pain utilizing validated tools to inform personalized care plans.
• Develop and implement multimodal, evidence-based pain management strategies in collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer opioid and non-opioid analgesics, including patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) and epidural infusions, monitoring for efficacy and potential adverse effects.
• Educate patients and their families on realistic pain management outcomes, safe medication practices, and non-pharmacological approaches to pain relief to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize analgesic protocols, reduce risks associated with opioid use, and improve patient comfort.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience with a focus on pain assessment and management.
• Current Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registered Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) in Pain Management preferred.

Shift & Schedule:

• Night shift: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
