Registered Nurse - Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum
FSN is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, family-centered care to postpartum mothers and their newborns, promoting optimal recovery, bonding, and education during the immediate post-delivery period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a couplet care setting
- Monitor maternal recovery, including vital signs, pain management, and post-delivery complications
- Assess newborn health, including feeding, elimination, and vital signs
- Support and educate families on breastfeeding, infant care, and postpartum recovery
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary teams
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition promptly
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in postpartum, mother-baby, or labor & delivery required
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
