FSN is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our specialized psychiatric and behavioral health team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and supervision as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor, assess, and accurately document patient conditions, behaviors, and responses to interventions to ensure optimal care planning.
• Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence where possible.
• Observe for changes in mental status, mood, or behavior and promptly report concerns to the nursing team.
• Maintain a safe, calming, and structured environment for patients and staff, supporting therapeutic outcomes.
• Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation, following facility protocols and safety procedures.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning to ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory policies.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards to protect patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Prior experience in a psychiatric, behavioral health, or acute care setting is required.
• Strong clinical judgment, observational skills, and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and focused in high-stress or crisis situations.
