Radiologic Technologist - CT/MRI
FSN is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist with expertise in CT and MRI imaging. In this vital role within a dynamic hospital environment, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring accurate and efficient patient care. You will collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and emergency department staff to facilitate timely diagnoses and contribute to patient health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex CT and MRI diagnostic procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Screen patients thoroughly for MRI safety and administer contrast media confidently and safely.
- Properly position patients to capture optimal diagnostic images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
- Document patient history, scan protocols, and technician notes accurately to ensure seamless record-keeping and continuity of care.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; report technical issues immediately to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations, including radiation safety protocols and patient confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate proactively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Valid NYS license and registration as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience specializing in CT and MRI procedures.
- Proficiency with PACS and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety.
