Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and continuous EEG recordings in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
  • Monitor patients during testing, promptly recognizing abnormal activity or changes in condition.
  • Accurately document and annotate EEG recordings to facilitate expert interpretation.
  • Maintain and calibrate EEG equipment, ensuring supplies are stocked and infections control standards are upheld.
  • Collaborate effectively with neurologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
  • Uphold patient safety, confidentiality, and comfort at all times.
  • Stay updated with current neurodiagnostic procedures and best practices through ongoing training.

Qualifications:

  • Certification such as Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) issued by ABRET.
  • BLS/CPR Certified.
  • Minimum of 1-year previous EEG experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Shift & Schedule:

  • Day Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts
