Radiologic Technologist
Job Description
FSN is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our growing Cardiovascular Center team. This position supports all cardiovascular imaging and interventional service lines, including Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Interventional Radiology, Vascular Services, and Structural Heart Program.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, exceptional patient care abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment. The Radiologic Technologist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality diagnostic and interventional imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures in cardiovascular and interventional settings.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively during cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality standards.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies.
- Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions promptly.
- Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
- Educate and support patients and families throughout procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT(R) registration required.
- ARRT(VI) or (CI) certification highly preferred
- Valid State Radiologic Technologist license
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
Shift & Schedule:
- Day shifts: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
