Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prescribed radiation treatments to oncology patients using advanced linear accelerators, including techniques such as IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS.
- Accurately position patients utilizing immobilization devices, image guidance (IGRT/CBCT), and treatment isocenter verification prior to each session to ensure precise delivery.
- Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects, document daily treatment parameters, and communicate any changes in patient status to the radiation oncologist.
- Perform routine quality assurance (QA) checks on treatment delivery equipment to maintain accuracy, safety, and compliance with institutional protocols.
- Maintain thorough documentation of treatments, patient responses, and equipment checks to support optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
- At least 2 years of clinical radiation therapy experience in an oncology setting.
- ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy certification required.
- Valid state licensure as mandated by local regulations.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency in using linear accelerators and advanced radiation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Work Schedule:
- Day shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
