Position Summary:
FSN is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Surgical/Operating Room Technician to join our healthcare team. In this essential role, you will support surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care for both adult and pediatric patients. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and necessary equipment to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
• Assist surgical teams during operations by passing instruments, supplies, and anticipating their needs with precision.
• Maintain strict sterile techniques and adhere to infection control protocols throughout all surgical activities to ensure patient safety.
• Handle, count, and accurately track surgical instruments, sponges, and supplies in accordance with safety standards.
• Aid in patient positioning and preparation prior to surgery, prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
• Perform post-operative cleanup of operating rooms, including proper disposal of biohazard materials and sterilization of equipment.
• Manage inventory by reporting supply and equipment needs, and assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels for ongoing procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure seamless procedures and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent current certification.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a surgical setting..
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, sterile techniques, and infection control.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Shift:

• Day shift, 4 days per week (4x10 hours), 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
