Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality respiratory care, perform diagnostic procedures, and respond promptly to emergent cardiopulmonary situations within our facility. Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license and registration
  • RRT credential required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including high acuity, advanced ventilation, and trauma care
  • Required certifications: AHA, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and interventions with precision and care
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments of pulmonary and cardiovascular systems to aid accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Provide life-support interventions and respond effectively to emergency cardiopulmonary situations to ensure patient safety
  • Document assessments, treatments, patient responses, and procedures thoroughly in electronic medical records (EMR), following facility policies and industry standards
  • Maintain respiratory equipment, supplies, and workstations in compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
  • Participate actively in departmental Performance Improvement and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Adhere strictly to all facility protocols, policies, and procedures, including confidentiality and security measures
