Position Overview:
As a CT Technologist with FSN, you will play a vital role in delivering accurate and high-quality diagnostic imaging services that support patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures, including scans of the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities, adhering to established diagnostic and interventional protocols.
- Safely administer intravenous contrast media, screening patients for contraindications, and vigilantly monitoring for adverse reactions during and after procedures.
- Optimize image quality through precise patient positioning, selecting appropriate techniques, and utilizing post-processing reconstruction methods.
- Implement radiation safety principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff, ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly, perform quality control testing, and document any equipment issues or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with radiologists to adjust protocols and provide STAT reads when needed.
- Follow all safety and infection control policies to ensure a secure and safe environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical CT imaging experience.
- Current ARRT (RT) certification; ARRT CT certification is preferred or eligible.
- Valid state radiologic technologist license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency in performing complex imaging procedures with a thorough understanding of relevant protocols.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Shift Details:
- Wednesday and Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Friday through Sunday: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
- Weekend commitment required every weekend
