Join Our Team as an MRI Technologist
FSN is seeking a dedicated and experienced MRI Technologist to become an integral part of our healthcare team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a wide range of MRI procedures using established protocols to capture detailed diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, prioritizing their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Thoroughly screen patients for MRI safety, including checking for implants and contraindications, to prevent adverse reactions.
- Operate MRI equipment and adjust technical parameters to achieve optimal image quality.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to any adverse reactions or discomfort.
- Administer contrast media safely in accordance with protocols and physician instructions.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure precise diagnoses.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and documentation within EMR/PACS systems.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, infection control policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification (RT) with MRI specialization (ARRT-MR) or ARMRIT certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based MRI experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- In-depth knowledge of MRI safety standards, protocols, and equipment operation.
Shift & Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
