Registered Nurse - NICU

Join FSN as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our tiniest and most vulnerable patients. At our leading children’s hospital, you'll provide specialized, compassionate care to critically ill and premature newborns, working alongside a dedicated team of neonatologists, pediatric specialists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care to premature and critically ill neonates, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Continuously monitor and assess patient conditions, swiftly recognizing and responding to clinical changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Manage advanced neonatal equipment such as ventilators, CPAP machines, incubators, and monitoring devices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each infant’s needs.
• Educate and support families throughout their infant’s care journey, including feeding, developmental needs, and discharge preparation.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in critical care or NICU nursing.
• Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment skills, and ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
