Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate support with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
- Assist patients with mobility by transferring, repositioning, and ambulating to promote safety and comfort.
- Support nursing and medical staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within patient rooms and common areas.
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient call signals and requests.
- Document patient conditions, care provided, and any changes in medical records accurately.
- Offer emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families, fostering an empathetic environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid State-issued Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- At least 2 years of experience as a CNA in a hospital setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of performing effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
- Physical strength and stamina to assist with patient transfers, lifting, and mobility.
Shift Details:
- Emergency Department (ED), Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg), and Pediatric (Peds) units: 6, 12-hour shifts over two weeks.
- Pediatric Float Pool: 4, 8-hour or 12-hour shifts over two weeks.
