Position Overview:
As a Mammography Technologist at FSN, you will perform specialized mammography procedures, including stereotactic breast imaging, under the supervision of a radiologist. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality imaging essential for accurate diagnosis and patient care. We value your professionalism and dedication to patient comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mammography examinations, including stereotactic breast procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging standards.
- Properly position patients and adjust imaging equipment to optimize image clarity and diagnostic value.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for all procedures performed.
- Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, explaining procedures and providing a supportive environment to reduce anxiety.
- Assist with routine equipment maintenance and report any technical issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (AAS) or equivalent.
- Valid and current Radiologic Technologist license or registration.
- ARRT certification in Mammography.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive clinical experience in a hospital or similar healthcare setting.
- Commitment to maintaining certifications and staying updated with industry best practices.
Shift & Schedule:
- Day shift, 5 days per week
