Registered Nurse – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our MICU team. This full-time position offers a challenging and rewarding environment where your expertise can make a real difference in patient outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and implementing treatment plans.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for accurate charting, documentation, and communication.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and modify patient care strategies.
• Assess patient conditions continuously to identify changes and respond accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, procedures, and health management.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Shift Details:

• 4 days per week, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience working in a MICU or Critical Care setting..
• EPIC EMR experience is required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates within 75 miles are not eligible.
