Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team and provide exceptional patient care in oncology settings. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver precise radiation treatments to oncology patients using state-of-the-art linear accelerators, including techniques such as IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS.
• Accurately position patients utilizing immobilization devices and advanced image guidance systems (IGRT/CBCT) to ensure optimal treatment accuracy.
• Verify treatment isocenters and perform necessary imaging before each session to maintain high standards of precision.
• Monitor and assess patients for treatment-related side effects, promptly reporting any changes to the radiation oncologist.
• Conduct routine quality assurance (QA) checks on all treatment equipment to guarantee safety, accuracy, and compliance with institutional protocols.
• Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient responses, and equipment checks, supporting effective patient management and outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical radiation therapy experience in an oncology setting.
• ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy certification is required.
• Valid state licensure as mandated by local regulations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in operating linear accelerators and advanced radiation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Work Schedule:

• Day shift, five days a week with 8-hour shifts.
