Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients, including trauma cases such as gunshot wounds, orthopedic injuries, and critical medical conditions.
• Manage ventilator settings, including CPAP and BiPAP, and administer advanced airway procedures.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding swiftly to dysrhythmias to stabilize patients.
• Deliver specialized care for stroke (CVA), neurotrauma, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries (TBI), ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Conduct thorough triage assessments, implement isolation precautions, and facilitate pediatric spinal cord injury management.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an Emergency Room setting or a related acute care field.
• Proven experience in emergency care, including ventilator management and trauma response.
• Knowledge of pediatric and adult care, with robust skills in neuro, cardiac, and trauma nursing.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environment, demonstrating strong critical thinking and communication skills.
