MRI Technologist

FSN is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will conduct high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and adherence to all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures utilizing established protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, prioritizing their comfort and safety throughout.
• Conduct thorough patient screening for MRI safety, including assessing for implants or contraindications.
• Operate MRI equipment, adjusting technical parameters to achieve optimal image quality.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
• Administer contrast media in accordance with protocols and physician instructions, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and healthcare team members to facilitate precise diagnosis.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation within EMR/PACS systems.
• Follow all safety guidelines, infection control policies, and regulatory requirements diligently.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification (RT) with MRI specialization (ARRT-MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based MRI experience.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards, protocols, and best practices.

Shift & Schedule:

• Night shift, 3 days per week (12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM).
