Position Overview:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with FSN, you will be responsible for performing advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures that play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients. Your expertise in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating sophisticated imaging equipment, and adhering to strict safety protocols will be vital to delivering accurate results and optimal patient care. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following prescribed dosages, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, including NRC and state regulations.
• Conduct a variety of nuclear medicine imaging studies such as planar, SPECT, and PET/CT scans, including cardiac stress tests, bone scans, thyroid evaluations, and oncologic assessments.
• Operate gamma cameras, PET/CT scanners, dose calibrators, and related equipment, ensuring daily quality control measures are completed and properly documented.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures for adverse reactions, providing immediate care and maintaining radiation safety precautions.
• Coordinate imaging schedules with referring clinicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and improved patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards related to radiation protection and infection control.
• Accurately document procedures, equipment performance, and patient interactions to support regulatory compliance and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
• At least 2 years of nuclear medicine imaging experience in hospital or outpatient settings.
• Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT (N) or CNMT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• State licensure as required by local regulations.
• PET certification is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling, imaging procedures, and radiation safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule & Shift:

• Day shift, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
