We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Sitter to provide dedicated one-on-one support in a senior care and rehabilitation setting. As a vital part of our healthcare team, you will ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents, offering companionship and assistance with daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuously observe and supervise assigned residents or patients, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Assist with non-clinical activities of daily living, including mobility support, feeding, and personal care.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to promote residents’ mental and emotional health.
• Monitor for any behavioral or health changes and promptly report observations to nursing staff.
• Support residents with ambulation, transfers, and positioning as directed, ensuring safe movement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in compliance with facility policies.
• Follow infection control protocols, confidentiality standards, and safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, their families, and healthcare team members.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a sitter, caregiver, nursing assistant, home health aide, or senior care companion.
• Experience working with elderly, rehabilitation, dementia, or memory care patients is preferred.
• Strong observation and communication skills, with the ability to remain attentive and calm under extended shifts.
• A caring, patient-centered approach to support residents’ needs.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• CPR certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift, move, and assist residents comfortably and safely.
