As a CT Tech with FSN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Our team supports your professional development and ensures you have a fulfilling work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of CT imaging studies, including scans of the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities, utilizing appropriate protocols for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Administer intravenous contrast media, ensuring patient safety by screening for contraindications and monitoring for adverse reactions during and after contrast-enhanced exams.
- Optimize image quality through precise patient positioning, technique selection, and post-processing reconstruction, while implementing radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform quality control testing.
- Document any equipment issues and coordinate with radiologists for protocol adjustments and STAT reads.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including patient and staff safety, to ensure a secure environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of CT imaging experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Current ARRT (RT) certification; ARRT CT advanced certification is required or eligible.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid state radiologic technologist license, as applicable.
- Ability to accurately perform complex imaging procedures and interpret protocols.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
Schedule & Shifts:
- Night shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week
