Nurse Practitioner
Job Description
FSN is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team. The NP will provide advanced clinical care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination. This role requires clinical expertise, strong decision-making abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment plans, and wellness.
- Participate in discharge planning and continuity-of-care coordination.
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) state issued license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a hospital setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong familiarity with EHR systems.
Shift & Schedule:
- Day shit: 5x8 or 4x10
