Job Description

FSN is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our clinical team. The PA will work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care in a hospital environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions under physician supervision.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians.
  • Assist in procedures and surgeries as required by the department.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations.
  • Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care.
  • Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Participate in discharge planning and coordinate continuity of care.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current and valid Physician Assistant (PA-C) certification.
  • Active state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Minimum of 2 years working as a PA in a hospital setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making ability.

Shift & Schedule:

  • Day shit: 5x8 or 4x10
