Job Description

FSN is seeking experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our specialized care teams across multiple high-acuity departments, including Critical Care (Adult and Pediatric), Stepdown, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Heart & Vascular services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide direct nursing care for critically ill or post-procedural patients.
  • Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic data.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments.
  • Operate advanced medical equipment (ventilators, telemetry monitors, infusion pumps).
  • Assist with procedures and interventions specific to assigned specialty (e.g., cardiac procedures, post-op recovery).
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families regarding conditions, procedures, and recovery plans.
  • Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition, including emergency situations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS certification
  • 2+ years of acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting
  • Strong clinical, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
